The CPH The Lutheran Study Bible isn't set for release until Reformation 2009. The CPH Bible does have much more extensive notes, but the AF one is certainly more notated than simply being "sprinkled" with notes.MGVHoffmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13984044532444865131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5026869257529481970.post-19247235831961198082009-03-08T10:46:00.000-04:002009-03-08T10:46:00.000-04:00Yea, I have no idea why Augsburg Fortress decided ...Yea, I have no idea why Augsburg Fortress decided to call their Bible "Lutheran Study Bible" since they've known for a good long while that Concordia Publishing House had titled their Bible project: "The Lutheran Study Bible" ... and what is more, the AF Bible is a long way from being a "study" Bible. It's more like a Bible with notes sprinkled around in it.

I've looked at the Concordia study Bible. Wow.

http://www.cph.org/lutheranbible

Tom GoetzAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5026869257529481970.post-27161316116653971912009-03-02T19:55:00.000-05:002009-03-02T19:55:00.000-05:00Is Augsburg getting theirs in Logos? I personally think the naming is unfortunate on both sides. Not that i'm not going to buy CPH's version. Gotta love denominationalism.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5026869257529481970.post-75339896423047851882009-03-02T16:33:00.000-05:002009-03-02T16:33:00.000-05:00Yeah, I have talked to the Augsburg folks about th...Yeah, I have talked to the Augsburg folks about that. The difference in title is the "The LSB" of CPH and the "LSB" of AF. But which comes first on my shelf? Ummm...
